CALL FOR PAPERS STUDY GROUPS
OPEN MAY 1 - JUNE 15, 2024

(see instructions for each group below)

VESTIBULAR STUDY GROUP
This is the forum for discussion of the latest topics and challenging cases of vertigo and balance disorders that present to the neurotologist. We would like to focus the Study Group each year on certain common scenarios, which may encompass multiple disorders. We believe that this will allow an in-depth discussion while not binding it to just one disease.
For 2024, we would like to discuss “BPPV and associated problems.” However, we are happy to entertain any vestibular topic.  We invite 5-minute presentations of challenging cases as well as clinical/translational studies. The study group format will be abstract presentations followed by panel discussion.  Please submit all abstracts to Dr. Gerard Gianoli at [email protected]  and Dr. Brian Perry  at [email protected] by June 15, 2024.
Please include a title, submitting the author’s full name, designation, and email. Please limit abstract to 125 words or less; abstract must be in Microsoft WORD format please, no pdfs.
Gerard Gianoli MD & Brian Perry, MD, Coordinators

Abstracts will be accepted for 5-minute Facial Nerve study group case presentations followed by discussion between May 1 and June 15, 2024. The abbreviated abstracts should include a title AND clinical presentation only. The format is an "unknown" or "complicated" case presentation.
Please submit all abstracts to Dr. Mia Miller, [email protected]  and Dr. Dan Sun, daniel.sun@uc.edu by June 15. Don’t forget to include a title, submitting author's full name, designation, and email. SKULL BASE TUMOR STUDY GROUP
The scope of this study group encompasses the full breadth of lateral skull base tumors, including vestibular schwannomas, meningiomas, paragangliomas, and other more rare neoplasms involving the temporal bone and lateral skull base. We are seeking submissions for the 2024 program, including clinical studies, case presentations, and other succinct scientific reports. An emphasis on submissions related to new concepts and innovations in treatment are encouraged. However, members are also welcome to submit difficult cases with management dilemmas for group discussion. Abstracts will be accepted between May 1-June 15, 2024. Please do not forget to include an abstract title, author full names with titles, author affiliations, and presenting author’s email. Please limit abstract submissions to 250 words or less; abstracts must be submitted in Microsoft WORD format.
Abstract submissions and all inquiries should be directed to: [email protected] and [email protected]
Sincerely,
