CALL FOR PAPERS - STUDY GROUPS
“SUPER SATURDAY”
September 12, 2020 - Boston, MA

A recurring comment on the CME evaluation is "WHY DON'T WE HAVE CME CREDIT FOR THE STUDY GROUPS?" We have been working with our accredited provider, the American College of Surgeons, to make this happen and are pleased to report CME credit will be offered for three of four study groups. Four you say?? Yes, we have added a Third Window study group to the footprint this year! See below for details. 

Please note the deadline to submit cases for Third Window, Facial Nerve, and Stereotactic Radiosurgery study groups is JUNE 1st. The deadline for submission of cases for the House CI study group is July 17. 


NEW! THIRD WINDOW STUDY GROUP
The ANS is proud to add a fourth study group to the Fall Super Saturday meeting - Diagnosis, Evaluation, and Management of the (Inner Ear) Third Window Syndrome. Abstracts on topics such as superior semicircular canal dehiscence syndrome, perilymphatic fistula, and other otic capsule dehiscence problems will be accepted. Abstracts will be accepted between April 20, 2020 and June 1, 2020 for 5 minute presentations of challenging cases or clinical studies. The study group format will be abstract presentations followed by panel discussion. Please submit all abstracts to Dr. John Carey at [email protected] and Dr. Gerard Gianoli at [email protected] by Monday, June 1st. Don’t forget to include title, submitting author's full name, designation, email, and mailing address. Please limit abstract to 125 words or less; abstract must be in Microsoft WORD format please, no pdf's.

11th ANNUAL FACIAL NERVE STUDY GROUP
Abstracts will be accepted for 5 minute Facial Nerve study group case presentations followed by discussion between April 20, 2020 and June 1, 2020. The abbreviated abstracts should include a title AND clinical presentation only. The format is an "unknown" or "complicated" case presentation. Please submit all abstracts to Ashley Eikenberry at [email protected] by Monday, June 1st. Don’t forget to include title, submitting author's full name, designation, email, and mailing address. Please limit abstract to 125 words or less; abstract must be in Microsoft WORD format please, no pdf's.

STEREOTACTIC RADIOSURGERY STUDY GROUP
The 15th Annual Stereotactic Radiosurgery Study Group meeting will be comprised of  invited presentations followed by interesting case studies and discussion. This is a "Call for Papers" for such case studies. Abstracts will be accepted between April 20, 2020 and June 1, 2020 for 5 minute case presentations followed by discussion. WILLIAM HOUSE COCHLEAR IMPLANT STUDY GROUP
Please plan to attend the 36th gathering of the WHCISG as a part of the “Super Saturday” events during the ANS 55th Annual Fall meeting in conjunction with the AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting & OTO EXPO in Boston, MA. Difficult/interesting/unusual cases that illustrate novel concepts or management dilemmas are encouraged for presentation and discussion during the first hourI encourage you all to submit your interesting or perplexing cases to [email protected] and [email protected] no later than Friday, July 17th, 2020.
